Daily consumption is strongly encouraged, 7g (using the tablespoon that comes with the can) each time. You may dilute it with warm water, or mix with other drinks like orange juice or milk. I mix it with hot chocolate, since I don't fancy the taste of plain milk. I have been taking this every alternate night for the past month.

Verdict: Maybe because I have not taken this religiously, I have not seen visible results in my skin yet. What I have noticed, is that I will visit the bathroom the next morning. Without fail. As they always say, detoxification is crucial for healthy skin. Besides, having hot chocolate at night is like a snack for my empty stomach as I stay up late. Hee. Healthy indulgence? :P

I have ordered my second can, I will definitely drink this every night. Bottoms up!

P.S. For whoever is keen, you may take advantage of Sasa's promotion - Buy 2 Get 1 Free! It averages out to be approximately USD$32 per can, which I believe, is cheaper than taking Fancl's Tenseup every month. This is certainly affordable for most ladies out there :)

Till then, XOXO!

I was tidying my closet (read: throwing and donating stuff that I have outgrown, literally and not) and I found these babies among my new purchases here!

I have no idea when I can wear this pair of shoes, but they were really cheap (think about USD$10 on gojane.com?) and I liked the mesh and embroidery against the skin. ;)

this pair is actually of a wrong size :( half a size bigger, but I still went ahead to purchase them from gojane.com as they were too cute to resist! According to the website, Sarah Jessica Parker wore them on the set of Sex and the City. Ha!

I like this minimalistic design. Some may find this looking like bandages around my feet (touch-wood!) :P They are pretty comfy, my only concern is the fabric portion at my ankles losing its elasticity. From gojane.com as well!

Falling head over heels for oxfords and loafers lately, and I am gonna wear this pair out soon! I got them in tan leather as well, but I guess it seems easier to find black shoes in US. From Nine West outlet.

I couldn't quite fathom what its charm was till I dug out my Balenciaga-inspired bag and carried it in front of the mirror. This dark night shade is bee-yoo-tee-fool!!

For a lady-like touch, this is Balenciaga Town in the shade of Papyrus. So pretty ya? :D

I almost teared when I saw this picture again. I love you, Momo.

alrighty, moving on to the next entry! XOXO

I have been feeling really lazy these few days, hence, I have procrastinated the crucial tasks. >,<

Took these shots last week or so...

She sure knows when to relax :D

Side-note: I have been trying to figure out which works the magic on my skin: SKII? Clarisonic? Or the FINE Collagen Powder? My conclusion is both the pink baby and collagen powder. ESPECIALLY the Clarisonic. My skin has never felt so good before!

Till then! XOXO

Fight the age!

look what came in the mail!

Tadah! If you think anti-aging products are only catered for our facial skin, you are wrong! Our hair are impaired by environmental damage too. What's the point of having flawless skin but frizzy/unkempt hair? It just gets tougher to be a woman.

As usual, I came across this brand while reading my magazines, and they seem to have a best-seller - Bamboo Kendi Treatment Oil. I am definitely getting this someday, it looks really promising ;) I did a lil' googling, and Sephora carries this brand! However, the prices blew me off, I am quite a scrooge when it comes to hair care products. I tried my luck on Amazon.com, and I found this baby at 10 over bucks cheaper! :D

Let me share some background of this Caviar Anti-aging Range with you.

Hydrate & Nourish Dry, Brittle Hair

Key Ingredients & Technologies:
CAVIAR Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner are clinically proven to minimize the visible signs of aging. 100% of women showed visible improvement in shine, texture, softness and manageability after just one use.

Age-Control Complex®, a combination of Caviar Extract, anti-oxidant Vitamin C and revitalizing Cytokines, infuses the hair with shine, vibrancy and elasticity resulting in more youthful looking hair.

Seasilk®, a blend of powerful marine botanicals, provides exceptional moisture & helps repair damage.

Overnight Hair Rescue - Instantly penetrates deeply to repair & revitalize dry, damaged hair while you sleep.

It is recommended to use this two to three times a week, at night on dry hair. I normally use this after my shower, when my hair is still wet. I am not sure if this weakens the prowess of the product, as my hair doesn't feel that amazing the next day when I rinse it.

When pumped out, a lightweight creamy fluid greets you.

I am gonna give it more time to work its magic on my horrid-looking mane, like any other skincare product. It does have its fair share of raves, and I have to admit that I do like the fragrance of the fluid. It has that "luxurious" feeling, and I can imagine myself indulging at some hair spa salon.

Well, if this is really effective, I have to stock up on this, as this brand is exorbitant in Singapore (think Kérastase)!

P.S. Maybe I should try out the shampoo and conditioner someday :P

Beauty Reviews!
ladytricia
As you would have noticed if you have been following my blog, I rarely do reviews on cosmetics as I believe beautiful skin is the best canvas for makeup. Hence, I am the sort who will splurge on skincare products. What's more, I am deprived of facials over here, I place greater emphasis on taking good care of my skin. I am proud to say that my skin is in a better condition, compared to what it used to be years ago. Can you believe that I could fall asleep in my makeup when I was bushed from work?? Cardinal sin.

My best beauty advice for the ladies out there: Please treat your skin with respect, as it is the biggest organ of your body. Slapping on makeup to conceal the flaws is not the way to go. Do seek treatment if you have problematic skin, as nothing is sexier than healthy skin! :)

I am gonna do a few reviews this time round, on a roll!

1. DHC's SUNCUTQ10 Light Touch Sunscreen

I got this in one of the Watson's stores in Singapore. Was looking for a light sunscreen with decent SPF, and this caught my eye. Alright, I spotted some beauty award sticker on its packaging, and I sorta assumed that it was really that good.

As you can see, it is runny, which is pretty consistent for the Japanese sunscreens. I really dig this texture as it feels lightweight on my skin. ;) However, you would need to shake the bottle well before use, so as to make sure the ingredients are properly mixed for maximum efficacy.

It is easily absorbed, and does not leave a white film, which some of the sun protection products may. I am not sure if there's Q10 content in the sunscreen, since its name may have suggested so. But I am definitely loving this product, and I may consider re-purchasing if I do not find a better alternative in Singapore.

Pros:

- Affordable
- Does not leave a white/greasy film upon application
- Very lightweight and easily absorbed

Cons:

- Not easily available in the States, I would reckon that it's only available in Asian countries
- For the careless ones, the requirement to shake the bottle well before use may be a bummer.

I can't quite recall how much it is selling in Singapore, prolly $30 plus? If you have Watson's membership, I guess you can redeem your points and deduct a few bucks off. :)

2. Olay's Total Effects Eye Transforming Cream

I first spotted this in a local magazine (People's, if my memory doesn't fail), when Amanda Peet mentioned this product as her fave eye cream. BIG MISTAKE TO BUY IT.

Don't get me wrong, as Olay's products are raved in general, and my mum loves the Total Effects 7-in-1 moisturizer with a touch of foundation very much. I took the leap of faith that this product was not gonna disappoint.
